Our school organized an orientation programme for parents of Pre-Primary children (Pre-KG, LKG and UKG) on March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. This was mainly to familiarize parents with the teaching-learning methodology implemented in the school and to inform them about the various subjects, teachers, and activities designed for the new academic session. Teachers conducted the programme, introducing parents to the syllabus, teaching methods and pattern of assessment using a short presentation. Parents were briefed about the various activities and competitions for the tiny-tots such as sloka chanting, fancy dress, English recitation, Hindi recitation, Diwali card making, kite making, green-day, orange-day, cake sharing day, etc. Parents were also informed about the ‘Amritam Project’ and the need for their sincere cooperation. All their concerns were addressed, and at the same time, they were made to understand the responsibilities they should undertake, as they play a vital role in building their child’s future.
