This is one of the most important festivals related to the seasons in India. Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated this day with great fervour. A kite flying competition was held on the school grounds, and joy abounded everywhere in the school atmosphere.
Christmas is a time to give and forgive. The tiny-tots of Amrita Vidyalayam came beautifully dressed in their best, and danced to the tune of ‘Jingle Bells’. Students enjoyed themselves by participating in song and dance, sweet sharing, drawing etc.
Guru Purnima was celebrated at Amrita Vidyalayam, Ahmedabad. Parents and children participated with great enthusiasm. Paduka pooja was performed and children took blessings from their parents and guru.
Our beloved Amma’s 61st birthday was celebrated on 27th September, 2014. The celebration commenced with Paduka pooja, followed by Puja – Archana and Bhajans.
